Hello Darkness, My Old Friend..... My Tumbling Days have come to end....
Literally for the first time in 2 years since I became hooked on this hobby, my garage is experiencing an odd sound-the sound of silence! Ive got lots of rock to cut, but too little time and I just pulled my last batch out of polish last week with nothing left to start! HOW SAD!! I got a little saw time last weekend and have a few little slabs ready to mark up, and I have a CabMate on the way to me as an early Christmas Gift, so maybe things will get ROLLING again soon!
Happy Tnanksgiving all! KJ

"And the vision, that was planted in my brain, It still remains".. Its always with you KJ, once into the rocks there will come a time when you need a fix. Im like that at the moment and have been for a good 12months - but everything I do in my garage is geared towards starting my tumblers up again. Fantastic song - one of my favs of the boys - as was/is "Bright Eyes". (I keep rabbits Cheers Mark

Congrats on the cabmate, you're gonna love the instant gratification that comes with cutting cabs. I've still got your address, would you like some tumbling material? PM me.

Joe got us tickets in the 9th row for the S&G reunion concert a couple years ago. They materialized out of nowhere at the beginning when they spotted them on a dark stage. It was one of the most timeless and nearly perfect moments of my life.

KJ etalia: how about "Me and Julio"-try not tapping a foot when that plays.I consider Simon's "Graceland" the best pop album to date. Grinding is fun!Mike.
