Dug this out. Just a quick and dirty glued on bail as the stone is quite uneven in the back and extremely thin along the sides. This is the front view. I think it's an amazing stone. I didn't want to mess wtih Devcon or plastic steel or whatever that stuff is.

This is the back view. I only noticed the fibers after I took the photo. I haven't really seen anything like this in agate before. You can see it on the left side of the top photo, too. Any ideas what it could be?
