I have never seen one. The 14" saw from BD is based on Star Diamond 14" but never seen a 12". I don't suppose it is a 14" with 12" blade?

Looks a lot like the Star Diamond 14". BD uses same vise/carriage parts. Tell your friend to go to Barrancdiamond.com, lapidary, saws, HP14 and download that pdf manual. Tank is a little different (star Diamond had pull out reservoir tank, BD has bolt on sump tank, soon to be eliminated). Working parts should be the same. They are using the Star Diamond vise castings, etc.
