Wanted to try blind drilled holes for an upcoming project, so I made a tealight candle holder made out of graveyard point agate. I drilled 38mm holes about 9/16" deep. Then, I drilled a sequence of 12mm holes and chipped out the cores to remove the bulk of the material. Was faster than I thought to do this. thanks for looking

WOW! I love the subtle colors of the agate and how the plumes looks like flames. What a wonderful idea.

Seems like the hardest part would be getting the brick cut square. polishing the brick. The holes not bad at all electroplated bits.

Seems like the hardest part would be getting the brick cut square. polishing the brick. The holes not bad at all electroplated bits. Super cool! saw does all the work, but it was fiddley getting everything square. Set things to cut as slow as possible so I can start at 600 on the wheels
