Wanted to try blind drilled holes for an upcoming project, so I made a tealight candle holder made out of graveyard point agate. I drilled 38mm holes about 9/16" deep. Then, I drilled a sequence of 12mm holes and chipped out the cores to remove the bulk of the material. Was faster than I thought to do this.  thanks for looking |

WOW! I love the subtle colors of the agate and how the plumes looks like flames. What a wonderful idea.

Seems like the hardest part would be getting the brick cut square. polishing the brick. The holes not bad at all electroplated bits.
