I spent the other day with that little 6 week pit pup. They sure do have a way of turning rain into sunshine. Too adorable. Even at her tender age she was all about playing with sticks and tug of war. The little growl made everyone go, "awwwww".

I spent the other day with that little 6 week pit pup. They sure do have a way of turning rain into sunshine. Too adorable. Even at her tender age she was all about playing with sticks and tug of war. The little growl made everyone go, "awwwww". She will grow up fast. pit bulls are pups for a short period. mature quick. RR lanky and clumsy for 2 years. Slow PB's born tugging, lots of fun/energy/attitude. Enjoy Tela. |

Ha...like 8 mouthfuls of hypodermic needles, I am sure. That really makes me miss our Jack Russel, Katy. She slept in our bed for 16 years minus 6 weeks. Kindest, most gentle soul you'd ever want to meet. That dog probably traveled over 1/2 million miles with us in our vehicles. She died in my arms from a seizure she could not come out of 3 years ago. It is kinda funny how an animal can melt your heart... |

She slept in our bed for 16 years minus 6 weeks. Kindest, most gentle soul you'd ever want to meet. That dog probably traveled over 1/2 million miles with us in our vehicles. His expiration date is coming too soon.he shows signs of age. Cataracts, grey hair. He still jumps in my arms. Thigh high now, instead of chest high a decade ago. |

My brother in law and sister in law had a dog, Floyd. We can't have a dog, so we were really partial to him. He went to his maker on Saturday. He stopped eating and drinking, but they enticed him with a steak wrapped in bacon for his dinner and in the morning they took him to the vet. He was a really good dog. He was the best toe licker ever! LOL!

Their love IS unconditional. Your pups have me rethinking getting another jamesp they are adorable!!...but I want to be settled in one place and able to spend the much needed time for raising a puppy. Our home is is in Homosassa Springs, FL.and I work and currently rent in the Panhandle. My better half flies from here to Atlanta and back every week. It just doesn't seem fair to a new addition to the family, ya know? |

Dogs are wonderful. When I met my wife, she was a cat person. We bought a house and were robbed in the first few months. At the time she was a vet tech. We adopted a beat-up Sheltie, "Ed". Cancer claimed him a few years after, and we were robbed shorty after. Aquired a mutt-healer-merle-one-blue-eyed thing, Chispa. Awesome dog. 13 years mostly strong. She started to decline quickly and was hit by a car two years ago. Still struggling. Soon after we were robbed. Cats are wonderful for taking care of the mice and the rabbits in the garden, but they don't intimated the teenagers who like to rob our house (we always find empty bottles of liquor afterwards). We have another pup in the house picked up from Big Bones Rescue, Dobie-Australian Shepard-small-mutt-bitch-thing that was rescued from Tijuana, named "Tija" ... "Teeha." Would post pics but posting on this board takes a few extra steps that I haven't mustered up the gumption to do yet. Good dogs show me how to treat everyone.

Always liked the 'dog side' of people. We had dog parties hear at the farm for years. Because they were people we had an important connection with-their dogs.
Like to hear peoples dog relationships such as those in this thread.

Oh, here's one that makes you smile,maybe.
Started a new tumble, my usual mix.. Water, grit, kitty litter. But I was out of kitty litter so I put in some dog food to maybe thicken the slurry.(LOL
If nothing else it should make the white strips brighter. HA
