Spent 15 minutes in a 10’ by 1’ washout by pasture and found these.

Close up below of the three I found most interesting.

Upper left rock is about 6” long and reminds me of petrified wood. End grain is similar to some of the AZ Pet Wood I found. Have found Wisconsin Pet Wood, but in the NW part of state.

Lower left has a very unusual outlined hole on it. There are markings on the back side as well.

Lower second from right. Very nice slightly translucent patterns. Could make some nice cabs.

Listen to the rock. The rock knows its destiny. It will guide you in fulfilling that.

rocknrob: There was a shop in Portland, don't know if it's still there called Kenny and Zukes who made the absolute best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had. The problem is every restaurant thinks their sandwich is worth $20 now and seldom makes the grade. Nov 12, 2024 9:53:31 GMT -5
