Been a while since i wire wrapped anything. I pretty much only do it when i get requests for it and my old boss asked for a pair of earings with some type of blue stone. I went down to my local rock shop and found some sodalite and blue goldstone round beads. Considering i had about 70 beads between the 2 strands i bought I went to town making earings with matching pendants. Made most in silver plted copper, some in solid copper, one set in brass that I'll be giving to my grandmother since her bday is coming up and i did a set of the goldstone in gun metal just because lol. Opinions welcome it was fun working on these, nice break from my other work. Need to work on the lighting in my light box

Very cute! Love the silver one. I don't like gold but even the sodalite in gold are pretty. Are those 4mm stones?

Thanks everyone. Yes it's a single wire. Found the tutorial here: eatbreathedesign.com/2012/04/10/beaded-drop-earrings-tutorial/Not too difficult, the design is very simple. I didn't want anything over the top, simple and elegant was more her style. I'm not sure what size the beads are, they werent labeled but i guess they are close to 8 mm for the goldstone and 6 for the sodalite.

Thanks for the tutorial. I wondered about it but was trying not to be crass.

Eni Oken is the artist who originally came up with the design. She sold tutorials for it a long time ago. Now, everyone is doing it. I've done it a few times myself. It's elegant and easy. What's not to like? I first saw it on the cover of a book Contemporary Bead and Wire Jewelry. I had to buy the book!

icatz, Glad you enjoyed The elegancy of it is what drew me to it. Simple, classy, and with the right beads can really make a statement without being in your face. My old boss loved them when she came to pick them up on saturday.
