So I finally found a good time where I could actually call Graves since they don't seem to respond to my emails.
My problem is that the 280 grit wheel has a 450-500 grit on it instead so it takes 3 hrs to move from my 220 wheel to the 280 wheel when working with agate and other similar things.
Contacted Graves today and they said to send the wheels back in so i'm sending both the 220 and 280 so they can try it for themselves.
I will keep this thread updated as things happen, but I can say that e-mail service isn't too great after you buy something.
Ether way, i'm hoping for something that works.

In the mean time spend $45 on a wheel from Mo Han. They're cheap and good for in between the expensive ones. I haven't had any issues yet with mine. He has his own site or you can eBay and get em a little cheaper. Sellers name is Lapidary tools glennz01

I have my eyes set on some good resin wheels if the need arises, Ive got enough to keep me busy even though i'm down a few wheels.

I have tried to switch away from Nova wheels twice - and had major problems both times. The first time was trying to use a new (not a re-coat) Johnson Bros wheel and it flat out sucked and immediately started delaminating within minutes of first spinning it - and the second time was when I tried to re-coat myself and got the same result.
I know Nova and Galaxy are a little more expensive but... ygwypf

I have a friend that uses them that will no longer use novas because of how fast the set is.

Well finally got the wheels back... they sent a new 220 grit flexwheel to replace the 280 grit. Thought it was a mistake since they said they wouldn't replace the 220 whick I sent in so they could test the 2 wheels on stones to see what I was talking about. Called them up and they said that the manufacture no longer produces a 280 grit wheel.... so jumping from 220 to 600 is rather large jump.
