This is a homemade Trim Saw that was part of a grouping of lapidary estate items I purchased locally. It is made of aluminum and appears to be very well made. It has a 5/8" diameter arbor that will accommodate up to a an 8" diameter diamond blade. It currently has a brand new 7" tile saw diamond blade mounted on it. The rock vice is missing from the cradle/track so you will need to make one if you want to use this saw for slabbing. But for trimming slabs the cradle swings up out of the way as shown in the photos below. The bearings are getting worn but still feel like they have a bit of life left in them. This saw uses the old style water pump bearings similar to what the Rock Rascal Model "J" trim saw uses except are right-hand threaded. The table measures 15-1/4" x 10" and the overall height is approximately 11". The buyer will need a 1/4hp or 1/3hp 1725rpm continuous duty electric motor, a pulley for the motor arbor, and a v-belt to operate the saw. The price is $50.00 plus $22.50 S&H via Fed Ex Home Delivery anywhere in the U.S. Continental forty-eight states. If interested in purchasing please PM me the email address to send your Pay Pal Invoice to and please post your intentions to purchase on this thread so others will know if this item is spoken for. Thank you! Larry C.
