Tear the old out, put the new in. Trying to get 80,000 pounds stockpiled in this field. At 25,000 today. Whilst steel prices are cheap. Tired, but will coast for years once inventory is in place. Weld shop 100 feet away. Marathon efforts have payed off in past to have free time later. Feel that steel will triple or quadruple in next couple of years, so the hurry. Not the first large steel purchase made at low prices. Competitors will get a price shake down later by not stocking up now, my gut. Demographically, back yard grilling and fire burning likely to be popular for next 5-10 years. Certain that environmentalists and regulators will force price of steel up. It takes land disturbance and energy to make it. May 7  May 12  Today, June 1    |

S/B <30 days... Amy chance Chuck in a Truck firepits comes and steals a load, or ten? Steals as in felon stealing ? it is 6/10 of a mile mostly one way and past a (rifle) bench rest at the house. Furthest corner of property. Surrounded by forest the other way with one hidden ATV path. No truck on earth could get thru that forest. 3 creeks with deep banks, no crossings. About as secure as it gets. Ft Knox an easier heist. Neighbors hide stuff here all the time. Me no ask questions. Should start Mary Jane farming but we are a conservative bunch here in Georgia. Sounds good regarding felony theft of precious metals Always been able to crank stuff up down here. No neighbors. Noise complaints no problem. It is hard to turn around on the long drive. Had a few of the local meth folks drive in. Hear them coming on the gravel. Always hide and let them drive in and watch them park and get out. Then stand quietly till they see me watching them. Then raise cain. |
