Out of the Lot-O today is a mixed batch of rocks. I got most or all of these in a trade with deserthound a couple years ago. This one was shaped into a rough cab when I got it. 1 2 3 Cool rock, horrible picture, but I don't feel like taking another. 4 The inclusions on this one came right to the surface and didn't polish well. I never know what to do in this situation. 5 6 7 8 9 10 11

#2 is rhyolite guessing ? Like the shape. But the polish is fine. The Viking vibe(or my process) has a hard time putting a good polish on rhyolite. Same problem with obsidian, is #5 obsidian ? Lot-O is cat's meow, well done.

I think #2 is wonderstone (rhyolite). I've done some before that did not shine, so I think the source of the material is important. I didn't recognize #5 as obsidian when I put it in, but it looks like it now. I'm not really sure. It did turn out nice, whatever it is. I agree that the Lot-O is a great machine.

Yes wonderstone is variable. Some does do better than others. Nice polish on wonderstone and an obsidian for a run with harder agates.
