Hi guys, I just got back from checking out a craigslist ad for MHPJ and I wasn't let down.. Figured I'd let you guys know! Here's just some of what I bought (17 pounds total!) He hounded the material himself long before it was closed off to collecting and has a LOT of material in all different sizes. Here's the ad: sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/for/5615438502.html (his pictures aren't the best, I need to email him to take better ones) his price is $10/lb but when he found out that I was using this material for lapidary purposes and not reselling he knocked $30 off the price for me. He also threw in a baggie of bloodstone rough and a couple big polished stones... Nice guy. If you're interested in going he said that a group was coming this Thursday, so I'd move in quick.

Outstanding! I had seen the ad with the pictures of the massive amount he had collected. I'm in NC so too far for me. But I'll admit for a fleeing second there, my nearly OCD thing for Poppy Jasper made me entertain a foolish idea...yes...I have it that bad for Poppy Jasper!!!!

Thanks for the report. I've been watching that guy's ad but the photos don't look very "poppy" to me - more like "poopy" haha. I took a pass on contacting him based on the blah photos.

Yeah, I legitimately thought they were just generic red and yellow jaspers until he sent me better pics. Glad I contacted him anyway!

Great find indeed, that's going to slab out quite well.

Hi All just ordered 20# from Tom. He uses PayPal to bill you. He was very accommodating, I was able to order Baseball size to softball size. If you look at Ebay prices, this is cheap. He uses USPS flat actual cost. Larry
