Looks like you are having fun with it. You got a nice shine going on those. Congrats on getting that first batch under your belt.
Oh, and props on working self collected rocks!

Those look great! Really nice first tumble, or any tumble for that matter. I can't speak specifically about an iPhone camera since I don't have one, but putting the camera on a tripod and using a timer so the camera stays completely still helps. A lot of people take the pictures outside in the shade.

One time when I was at the bridge, I was finding agates at the right hand side of the mainland side on the hillside just off of the end of the bridge. The next time I went back they had done something that made it impossible to find anything. Can't remember what though.

Nice looking polish on those. You did really good. What catches my eye is the nice flaw free surface which means you have the patience required.

I collected at L. Mohave and did well. There are lots of nice agate along the Colorado. Mohave was low and the wave action in the lake exposed plenty nice tumble material. It may be restricted now, don't know. Collected from a boat and have no idea where I found the goods. Seemed like any pebble bar you could find was rich in agate. Add washes entering the lake. If it is prohibited how can it hurt to get a tumbler full. You pay taxes. Consider the angelic nature of our government and get some satisfaction.
