I really like your tiger eye creation and the movie. Did you use an I phone? Thanks- Yes I have to use the iphone for uploading photos. My normal camera takes very high res video and they are way too large to post. I have been really surprised by the quality of the camera on the iphone though. Perfect for posting here. Chuck

Awesome. Video is a good way to display fine specimens. I'll have to look into that.

flickr rocks. It deserves flickr Thanks James. I have never had any issues with photobucket for all photos I post here but it never hurts to try something new. Do you know if the videos can be embedded right into the post so it does not have to be viewed in an outside window? Chuck

Next time, put a polish on it.
No.
Seriously, just kidding. OMG, that is amazing! That seems to have a better polish than float glass.
Thanks Chuck.

Easy and filing system simple. I do not remember seeing flickr videos that were embedded though. I did just learn to use flickr's 'aviary' to photo shop photos. Uploaded many a photo and did not like it. Nice to be able to do basic shop on host site.

Been trying to embed your video. No luck. W/Mac, I down load SD card to iPhoto(same as windows whatever photo shop). Then move it to a file ?? via 'Reveal in Finder', then share it to Vimeo from there. It can take an hour or more for it to feed to Vimeo. So it must take a while for the video to be arranged for embed. Jugglerguy taught me how to do all this. I think he could tell you what these steps are in computer language. Vimeo is free. Instant video downloads if you pay. It way be more Mac friendly-not sure. I would guess that you had to wait a while for your video to be uploaded to flickr. I tried the embed tool on flickr and had no luck. I shared your video to FB successfully but it opens in flickr. I am sure there is a way to do embed out of flickr. Must say, hit this roadblock too w/flickr. So the Vimeo. PS Noticed this video had over 40 views, guessing that was you trying to embed ?

OK, looks like I shared it to Vimeo without smarty pants Rob's help.
1) clicked the arrowhead at lower right in flickr(download) which took 20 seconds to download. 2) opened the download(it opened in Mac's 'Quick Time Player'-ask Rob... 3) went to tool bar and selected 'file' 4) clicked the 'share' which gave me a choice, chose Vimeo. It took, and will take 30-60 minutes to feed into Vimeo. 5) wow, Vimeo says it is already ready-3 minutes, that was way fast. Way fast. Join Vimeo, it did well w/flickr

Notice that flickr does not have a share option for Youtube or Vimeo. Just social medias.

I think I suggested Vimeo because it is included in Apple's share options. I don't think YouTube is an option.
Cool rock, Chuck. I love how the pattern in tiger eye moves. I think "chatoyance" is the word for that.
