If it's for real and it would be possible to assist a local with processing the stone on site I'm all for it. I have a new friend who has financed a small factory in Madagascar, putting several families to work there instead of the way the Chinese promote slave labor. Photos and more info on this start-up would be appreciated. You will have to use a photo hosting service like photobucket to post photos.

Call me kooky, but I am not buying it. There is no way in hell anyone with half of a brain is going to deal with someone from another country until it has been established that it is not a con job. I also do not buy that crap about no lapidary equipment in Morocco. There is all kinds of lapidary equipment in Morocco. I know people who have gone there hounding and it is everywhere.

Hi Malek, dont be discouraged. Mark speaks his mind, but he really is a good guy. There does seem to be some granite industry in Tangiers. I would focus on granite equipment for domestic equipment. If you decide to buy American there are plenty of manufacturers in California and I am sure they know how to export. Sell your gorgeous rocks for money and use momey to buy the gear.

If there's that much beautiful material near you, someone else HAS to be working those rocks too. That's an Impressive collection.

We had a fella on here a few years back from Hungary (I think) got us all pumped up on some nice agate for sale... A few of the forum members got burned "BAD"!! Never heard from him since! Yes some people are leery anymore-no hard feelings towards yourself...
