Finally received my first negative feedback from buyer who has left negative feedback to 61 other sellers. Contacted EBay and they are reporting him, however they refuse to remove it. He made no attempt to contact or get refunded which we offer for 30 days on all of our products. He cut the rock already which was a nice 4 lb 14 oz flowering tube onyx solid chunk specimen, so irritated! I hope to have my shop successful to get away from EBay and create my own website, EBay does not protect its sellers even with buyers with his track record.

Sorry to hear that. There's no accounting for some individuals; just be thankful they're in the minority. So long as your conscience is clear then don't lose sleep on it.

You can reply.
Simply state that this customer didn't even utilize your TOS. That you would have accepted return if he was unhappy.
It won't hurt you.
He is probably a competitor.

The exact reason I quit selling on eBay years ago. I wonder if outing the toxic buyer might be appropriate to allow others on the forum to preemptively block him or her.

I was always told that you leave very concise response. Like: Buyer never contacted, Buyer reported for feedback abuse in 61 other cases. - and what ever else you want to add, but be concise, professional an impersonal.
That's too bad that it will be fresh on top when you open your shop.

There are people who make a living off of screwing Ebay sellers. Also, you can't block sellers. Only sellers can block buyers.

The seller only has a feedback of 100 and has left 61 negatives!!!!!!! Wow!!!! Would you mind PMing me the sellers name so I can put them on my blocked bidders list? I don't know what their problem is but who needs that kind of customer?

It's an absolute nightmare for Ebay sellers! he will not contact you first for return or anything, he will just hit hit you with a negative.

1 negative feedback in a 12 month period, as a buyer I would not let that affect my purchase. Some people will never be happy with what they buy.

You can also Google mloganrocks and it will link you to my EBay one way or another, and you can find him in feedback (just look for the big red - sign)...lol...

Ebay's search engine doesn't distinguish between upper and lower case letters but you did have the "l" and the "r" reversed in his user name in your first post. I accidentally do that sometimes when typing too (right hand fingers can't always keep up with the left hand fingers). But I've found him now and added him to my "blocked bidder list". Thank you for letting us know! Looking over his left feedbacks he sure has ruined a lot of seller's days! IMO one of the most ridiculous negatives he left was "The beads are way to heavy for there size "... Seriously? ... too heavy for their size? Larry C.

Well as far as blocking someone. I bought something off eBay years ago. The description and photo were good but when I received it, it had a number engraved on the base.(clearly visible ) when I tried to contact him, he canceled his seller status. Other products that he had for sale started showing up. Did he change his login name and everything else? Don't know...but if your dishonest one way, you can be other ways too. I haven't bought from eBay since, and won't.

I just had someone leave feedback on Etsy yesterday and they said I used too much tape on the box and they almost cut their hand trying to open it. Hard to please everyone, lol at least they did say the item was great.
Ebay is too big for its britches and hard to police the abusers. Bummer.

Glad they didn't receive a box of rocks from me. They would've sliced a whole arm off (unless they live in Canada, then customs will open it for them and there will be many holes to choose from to pull rocks out of).

Thanks for the warning about this guy. He'd sent me a message on eBay a few weeks ago, asking if I'd take a discounted price for a stone. (I didn't offer "Or best offer", but I guess he wanted to try anyway.) I ignored him, but after your post I've blocked him from buying from me.

I hope the Mods are reading this. I would love to see this thread as a "sticky" so we have a place to post the warnings to others.
