Thanks for getting this far. I hope someone here on the boards can help us out.
Quite a few years back, we were travelling around Montana (Dillion and area). Well we decided to tour around a little farther than expected, and we came by this Roadside Rock Shop (OK, actually it was run out the home). The property was fenced in with a small 3' wire fence, it was in the country, and I can only recall that the property was on the Left Side of the road. Totally forgot the name of the closest town. What I do remember is the Gentleman was in ill health. His Wife, who conducted the majority of the business was in good spirits, and we had a wonderful time on her property. They had Milk Crates all over the yard. There were numerous tables where the rocks were on display. I'm sure I took pictures of the property. There were small mountains near by, where they used to take outtings to collect many findings!
I hope this is enough information that may spark someones memories in order to assist us further. We are planning a tour to Oregon in a few weeks, and would love to visit this Couple once again, and hopefully come home with more of their BEAUTIFUL Findings! They really Shine our garden!
Thanks in advance.

Maybe RTH member catmandewe might be able to help. He has bought out many rock estates in that area. Chuck

and I can only recall that the property was on the Left Side of the road. uh... (nevermind)How about going on that Google satellite map and seeing if you can zoom to the general area and then find familiar landmarks or something that jogs your memory until you hone right in on the place? Amazing what you can see/find with those sat pictures.

Oh that could be one of over 100 places around here, would need to know approx area, Northern Idaho and Eastern Idaho both are close to Montana and that is about 400 miles of border so thats alot of area to guess on.
Do you know what route you were taking?
