Inspired by the recent generousity of toivO and shotgunner I'd like to give away four small flat rate boxes of local rocks from Northern Colorado. I'll stuff it full of Jaspers, Agates, Pet Wood, and Idoevenoites. This is the group picture. I will put 3 or 4 of the Agate/chalcedony that are of tumble size. The problem with them is that they are often very thin and or have deep holes in them. It's difficult to find one big enough to tumble down to perfection. I pretty much pick up all that I find and use the smalls as filler. with holes a bit thin Please respond to this thread if you would like a box, and then PM me your address. Thanks, Colin

I don't tumble much so I'll leave the box for others - but just wanted to say that's bad-ass Colin

I have plenty of tumbling material right now, but that's a very generous offer.

Good on you! I don't tumble, either, but I think it's cool what you're doing.

Lots of tumblers here, and lots of new tumblers, too. Hope they see this thread. I'm not a tumbler, but that is a wonderful offer.

Thank you all. Not sure they're worth the price of postage, but I've been having fun hounding and pounding and schlepping and pepping and bumbling and tumbling.

Thanx Colin I PMED you my address. I tumble a lot and give them all to kids at the flea market. I hardly ever have much more than a quart in my little fish bowl for the kids cause they are so popular! Of course sometimes the kids are really big, like adults but hey everyone deserves a free shiny lucky rock! It's hard to keep 7 tumblers full and 3 of them are 12 pounders! LOL. I luv buying grit! Not!! LOL

I attempt to teach high school English, and all students like rocks from the cool to the jocks to the freaks to the pops to the refugees. Rocks bring everyone together. Your box is tagged. Roll on, Colin

Kudos. A kind offer, but possibly not worth posting to the UK!

toiv0 gets all the credit. He gifted me a full box of lakers and asked me to pay it forward. He wanted nothing in return. Just pay it forward he said. I challenge everyone in the january 2017 tumbleoff to follow Collin's lead and pay it forward. Good On you Collin!

Kudos. A kind offer, but possibly not worth posting to the UK! Possibly not worth the value of the box that they're in anyway. Any idea how much to ship to UK?

Thanks, but I'm ok... just taken a delivery from Shotgunner. For info, about $30.
