The tumblers are all quite now. I will try to get the rocks for the January contest rolling soon but that will be it. Do you ever fill your tumbler half full?(I would do this for greater tumbling action) How do you prevent fractures forming in early stages?

Half full barrel with larger 12 pound barrels will lead to fractures. I never run half full. Half full 3 pound barrels may not be as violent. This is a game of patience. Trying to beat the system usually means less then desired results. Chuck
