Super batch! I really like the Bahia in #17, 18. More confirmation that I picked good role models to emulate.

Wow Chuck, those are all super nice. As usual for you :-)
I was wondering, what percent of the total number of rocks you start out tumbling, survive your stage-wise scrutiny and make it to this last finished stage. And even in the end, do you have some you say 'nyaaa' and don't feel they are picture worth? I know you are good supreme at this, but what percent end up like this? <and if you say 100%, someone is gonna die, ha ha namely... me>

During my stage one clean outs while inspecting it is very common to cull out a bunch that I just do not think will ever be worth the time and effort to take any further. I have four trays I use for stage one clean out. First tray is for rocks that are still pretty rough and will go back in 46/70. Second tray is for rocks that are ready to move to stage two. Third tray is for rocks that are close but have just a few flaws that are worth grinding out on a diamond wheel, those get ground and spend one more week in 46/70. Fourth tray is for the ones that don't make the cut and go into my dump buckets. Some small flaws just don't show up till the rocks have a good polish so it is pretty common to grind and start over on rocks that need it. Chuck

That's what's so nice about this forum, the ability to ask questions, get answers and learn. I saw a $10 tutorial on the web the other day, doubt you get instant feedback with that.
