Hi, I've been collecting rocks for a while, but have been thinking about getting into more of a lapidary hobby and found this site (It's really awesome!) about a year ago in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan and thought it was really neat. It's about the size of a golf ball and wet in the picture. The black-brown part almost seems metallic. I just thought I'd share and see if anyone had any input what types of rock/mineral it looks like! m.flickr.com/#/photos/21210721@N03/28092713925/
