Central Wisconsin field and trail finds. I am fortunate to live in a unique area between the Glacial Lake Wisconsin and where the Green Bay Lobe of the latest glacier ended. The fossils were knocked off of the Niagra Escarpment when the glacier came through, so there are 200+ million old rocks in my fields.
So, my daughter was here a couple days ago and said I had to get all the rocks off my deck within 2 weeks or she would put them back in the fields where they belong. She picked out the 12 she appreciated and threw them in rock gardens. I removed some from there and some from the deck for my future tumbles/cabbing stash.
Offering what nice stuff is left for sale here. My daughter’s wrath is huge at times and I know when to not mess around with it. Only adjustments with Photoshop were unsharp mask. Color is as my camera took it with white balance adjustment for sun. Weights were obtained by digital bathroom scale, so might be off a couple of ounces.
PayPal account should be complete within a few days. Had to upload images and post before my internet time reset.
Some of the larger ones would be good for knapping/carving as well. If you need a reference, check with manofglass on the forum here, as he has received rocks from me.
I can take more photos if needed. Open to reasonable offers as well, as I do not want to see my nice finds back in the fields they came from. If anyone has suggestions on how to better represent these please let me know. Trying to make my first experience selling here positive for all.
