From what I here,this area is in a states decision to be shut down??
Also was told that not many are being found this size anymore.....Did my homework and "BOOM",it's mine...
Will just hang on to it for a bit and see how the outcome turns out for this area in California..

Was not a state decision. King Hussein Obama ordered it to become a national monument. The problem is nobody told anybody how to enforce it so it's still business as usual for rockhounds - if not busier.
