Hello all, i wanted to share a little more about myself I have many hobbies, below is just a few of them that actually produce tangible items i can get photos of. I dabble in leather working, fishing bait making and also make lightsabers! Its all for fun, but the bait and leather turned out to be a side business while I was in college. I dont have a site or anything because it was just a hobby that got the attention of my friends and their friends who kept buying my stuff! I have a ton of hobbies i bounce around to all the time. Im a bucket list type of guy and want to try so many things before my time is up. I hunt, fish, shoot archery, firearms, cook, build and fly rockets and all kinds of other things I cant think of at the moment. Anyways, below is some of my leather work, my bait, and a couple sabers I made. The fella in the photo with the amber saber is my brother, that was a surprise gift for him. The blue one is mine, its a replica from the new force awakens movie that i installed electronics into with a neat crystal chamber in the hilt. Both have custom saber sounds for swinging and clashing and flash bright white light when struck against things like the movies! Enjoy the show!

Nice work. Might have to check with you on making some custom knife sheaths when I get some more knives completed.

Lightsabers? No idea how you'd even start! Chas, that's easy! ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING starts with Google. Google is a verb. Do it!

Also a fan of your leather work. Lightsabers? No idea how you'd even start! Look up TCSS, the Custom Saber Shop. They sell everything you need to make them! My force awakens saber was a completed replica I modified to take electronics tho. TCSS has tutorials in their forum as well as a few other places! They can be a lot of work, but very rewarding!

@shotgunner jdubsI find what you've done amazing But tbh, I'm not motivated in that direction: the simple life for me! ... cuts stone, sometimes polishes stone occasionally sets stone

Yep, painting fishing lures is fun. Lots of tricks used for getting different patterns. A onion net is used to simulate scales, paint over the net and now you have scales. Clear coat is difficult. What type of paint do you use?

Air brush mostly. I made fishing lures for years. That's my only type of painting. Always trying to find someway to get a different pattern. Hair combs, pencil erasers Cut to whatever you need.

I noticed that after your light saber video was over a link came up to a Grant Thompson video. For anyone who hasn't seen any of Grant's videos, he makes all kinds of things from scratch. From gas powered metal forges to sugar rockets, he has something that even you can build. My husband built a version of his Randomizer Rocket powered by one of the homemade sugar rocket motors he has another video of. I'm trying to find the video of it (the one my husband made) lifting off.
