Have u played with 30frame mode? I'm enjoying your new camera play posts. Thank you. Still wandering thru dang menu driven instructions. I have very little time using camera. I am not sure if stacked does other speeds, I think that is for sequential and high res video. I think you can set the focal distance pre-programmed for the stack via sub mode, guessing there is a sub mode for amount of frames/focal distance too. Or perhaps by holding shutter down as it does in sequential mode. Must try tripod too. Cell phone can operate camera remotely/wireless. Many cell phone routines for this camera.

I know that palm took forever because it is so hard, but you sure did it justice! A good subject for the new camera.

I know that palm took forever because it is so hard, but you sure did it justice! A good subject for the new camera. Will have to get better lighting, like a blue sky Jean. Clouds and dark rocks a challenge. That palm took an earlier polish than most of that mixed batch. Telling of it's hardness. Hard stuff = fine gem stone. Due to the curves in the palm grain I would guess it to be palm root. Live palm root at Jurassic Lake George Florida from kayak at dusk:

Counted 5-6 gators out in lake within 200 yards. About normal. Lake well populated. Many in the 10-12 foot, some fat 13 footers. they build serious girth starting at 10 feet. Oklawaha River is fast water, gators fit and muscular there. Lake gators fatter and lazier. a 10 foot fast water gator hard to handle, like a bull raised on steep terrain. a 12 footer swimming underwater from shore in shallow water leaves a wake like a submarine. very prominent wave formation, strong swimmers. The large lake gators master at grabbing deer at the ankles while deer are wading eating aquatic plants. with 100 miles of shore line in lake and over a 1000 miles of deep swampy shoreline in the st John's River there is no telling how many large shy gators exist. william Bartram, a naturalist back in the early 1800's recorded 20+ foot gators. It is unknown how big they get. as they do not reach a max size. Modern day hunters have probably caught the real old ones. I found a 13' 6" dead gator. He must have been 3 feet wide at widest point. I would have gone back for the chain saw for his valuable head but he was smelly rotten. Skull must have been 4 feet long. Lake George 13 footer Another from George 13' 7" Looks to be about 12'. Note shallow water, perfect for wade fishing lol
