Hello Everybody,
I have a ton of wire wrapping tutorials, but some of them are NOT about encasing large stones. Should I go ahead and post them anyways? Also, they are not my works, but the tutorials are public domain.
Also, I don't know who is the admin here, but there are two excellent ways to make easier for members to post pictures directly from their computers. One is TinyPic - can be added as a forum plug in, and there is a fairly new one, called "Add picture to post", which also a forum plug in, using an image host. None of them are using forum storage. Just a thought, though.... please, don't shoot!

Perhaps you can start a thread, just post links to the the tutes and see what people's interests are. I don't think it has to be with rocks, necessarily. If you mean to post whole tutes- be very careful about what is public domain and what isn't. It is usually good practice to give the author full credit and a link. I used to write tutes and I can tell you that it is very aggravating when people assume that because I have posted something online that it is public domain. That is NOT the case. Intellectual property rights exist, though, sadly, they are often ignored. Didn't mean to lecture, but since you brought it up and asked, I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents.

I will use "redirecting" for the tutorials. The only thing is, that they are written in Hungarian, and I thought, by reposting them here I could give the English translation with them - I would NEVER use any intellectual property for resale and/or without giving credit to the designer. I also, never claim something is mine when it isn't - that is flat out larceny. Thank you for the heads up, though, and I'm keeping your 2 cents, he he.

It sounds like you well know what I am talking about. I think that seeing some "new" tutes from Hungary would awesome. And, if they in public domain, then I should be happy to have you translate them. I think it would be an asset to the wire wrapping section.
