Plumeria. Too bad you can't smell these, they are heavenly!
Dahlia. No smell, but pretty.
Cactus in front yard
Cactus (just one of them!) in back yard
For Scott - poached cactus, lol. Have had this about 15 years. jamesp 's lotus and water lilies in tub.
Rocks from Winnie's in Ramona. (Spent five days out there prospecting, visiting and having fun.)
Some quartz and quartzite.
Broke some up and it's in the tumbler now with the Lavic (tumbling contest) rocks. Dry.

And humble too! Haha Good catch Mark. Maybe there is a prison in Utah that needs a good guy like you. Then you can travel to AZ easier and more often. |

Gracious, those plummer plants are stellar. Why did you smash your finger ? Did it hurt ? Of course it did. Miss you guys.
Your plants love you. Spectacular blooms, no other way to put it.
Found 3 arrowheads yesterday. Heading down to the old post office/bar where mail was delivered 300 yards out in the lake many years ago to probe sand for old bottles. Old dock pilings mark probing area. Lake blown low by strong south wind pushing lake out St John's River channel. Having fun. Miss you guys.
Woke up 2 nights ago with hundreds of ants all over me. Pesky little stinging type.Benadryl close by. Never know when they will take an interest in you. I had 5 guys stay with me and they did not heed my warnings about dropping crums. Happens every time guests come. Got 2 sleeping rooms for such situations. Mainly because of ant attacks.
Have had violent afternoon storms every single day. A rainbow ended about 5 miles out in the lake. Or looked that way. Trees 6 miles away on other shore were behind it dilineating it's termination. The other shore is 6 to 14 miles away allowing distance judgements of rain and wind storms. Radar on smart phone allows measurements of distance accurately. Never had such info. Love the smart phone. Just can not host photos, tried but failed.

Found a poor hog the gators did in. Seen one giant buck. Likely the dominate one along my shore. He was threatening me while I was in kayak. I know where he stays. Not telling the gator hunters. Their air boats scare the big ones away.Dumbazzes need to approach them or at least scout them by kayak. Not sure what their reasoning is always using motor boats. Wasting their time. All you have to do is float around as the sun is going down and the big one will come check you out. Thinking you are competition. He is just making his presence known. HEY YOU, this be my turf.

My neighbor theif moved out of town. Guess he did not care for my hospitality from last trip. GOOD ridance. I know I scared the scnitt out of him. Rightfully so. Elderly neighbors thankful. Hostile place.

My neighbor has a yellow Plumeria. Looks edible, waxy blooms and rich lemon color.He says they are common in Hawaii.

I was not inferring that. As a matter of fact, it was there the last time I was down there. I went to the campsite to see if anyone I knew was there and there was no one there. The cactus was though. I would assume that it will be until someone drives over it. |

I didn't think you were, just wanted to be clear on it. In all the time I have spent traipsing around in the AZ desert, those are the only two I have ever seen. The other one was from south of Aguilla.
Let's hope someone doesn't run it over!
