Still having a devil of a time orienting the stuff for maximum effect, plus it is difficult to photograph, at least with my limited skills and equipment. Set in Victorian style gallery bezel and a pattern wire shank

That's just amazing! Would love to see a better view of the ring shank too.

Looks darn good to me! I am sure it would look even better in real life where you could rotate it around! The ring is a perfect style to complement moonstone.

Thanks all! Yes, it was difficult to show the color using a cell phone cam. I tried using a small light box I made, but this showed up better on the bench than in the box

That's really nice!
I love moonstone. Good ones, like yours, are hard to find. I got a couple from India and they weren't cheap. I remember when they were a dime a dozen (not literally) back in the 70's.
Question- Is it improper to black out the bezel cup for the stone to show better? I've heard of people doing it and wonder if it is considered dishonest. Your stone reminded me to ask this since it would likely benefit from a black background.
I think the Victorian treatment is just right.

That's just amazing! Would love to see a better view of the ring shank too. Here is a pic of the pattern wire I used for the shank. The longer bars between the "X" are raised and the sides of the wire have an "X" pattern also. Pretty cool wire, but looks like it might have been discontinued :-(

Gorgeous. I love moonstone and the pic does it justice. I have a small one -- really small -- that I made and wear a lot. Nothing fancy. But that blue shine is great. I prefer labradorite, but small pieces just don't seem to have the quality of the larger ones. One time I did get small cabs that were out of this world. I haven't seen any since.
