thanks for all the positive comments, friends. @ Metalsmith, no, i buy the settings. i took a silver class a long time ago and really enjoyed it, but hubby was afraid i'd burn the house down. sigh. rockjunquie those metal spacers are actually crimp beads from Fire Mountain Gems. accidentalrockhound, thanks for appreciating my attempt of matching beads to the stones.
