I usually tie these guys together and drag them way up the Oklawaha back waters with the Go Devil and cut them free. Then hide. They get so lost in there lol. Then try to say they knew exactly where they are. This time they had GPS on their phones. No such fun. Dead end channels often result in a gator turning and swimming under your kayak elevating it due to shallow water. Interesting. a couple of them wondered what made the wake under them. White faced Wallace ha ha Serious discussion about a Bog Lily(white) and a Cardinal Flower(red) These two totally lost Wallace resented my foot in the photo

The foot in the pic has ""hammer toe" wearing shoes too narrow. No fix Hereditary too spice. That reminds me, a doctor said I had some condition that has a french name. Hammer toe and a hollow spot on hand between thumb and index finger. started with CH ?? Anyway, he said it was nothing and did not cause any problems. He seemed amused by it, said it was rare and not to be concerned.

rockpickerforever That group is synchronized precision. They are easy company and actually very organized and make great decisions. I think we have been doing expeditions for 20 years now. They took to kayaking thanks to me. Been trying to convince them for years, finally about 5 years ago they saw the light. Took them to the Withlacochee where the fishing is so good. I mostly coral hunted and they fished. The fishing was great, and they fell hard for the scenory. Dave built a trailer that holds 6 kayaks. Steve wants to build a kayak with an 'in hull' small trolling type motor that can operate off of voice commands. He does such controls for all kinds of clients for all kinds of equipment. We are half 'motor heads' and half 'spark's'. Mechanical and electrical resp.

Let me show my ignorance - no alligators? This one has the gators Paul. But very shy. It is a very secluded spot. 10 miles downstream this river enters the large St Johns river and has many side tributaries only accessible by kayak or small boat. Real big wetland complex. The last 5 miles is the densest gator territory I have ever seen, and big ones. The gators in this fast flowing river are very athletic and smaller than lake gators. The gator hunters consider a 10 footer to be a real trophy at this location. The younger guys usually hunt them as they are much harder to handle and difficult to access. The Oklawaha is considered most beautiful river in Florida. It has it's own charm, mostly a rich biology. No speed limit, never know how fast a boat is going to come around the next turn.

A tour guide with humor/does it get any better!! Two thumbs up.. Those guys lack creativity when it comes to high adventure. They also lack sense in letting me lead them into it. ha

This section of this river was intended to be part of the 'Cross Florida Barge Canal'. It was beat down by the environmentalists, and considered the largest disaster of the corp of Engineers. Complaints about sharing water with the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico was their prime complaint. Had they just dug thru the central Florida ridge and lifted all that coral up. A rare dam in Florida backed up 10,000 acres of water(L Rodman) and flooded some fine Native camps. Mounds springs encampments all exposed by wave action. Flooding the forest created one of the finest bass and bird habitats.
