This stretch of shore is the first section of unoccupied shoreline for about 4 miles. Lots of critters seeking refuge from mankind. More fantastic scenery, thanks for taking us along!
Curious as to how the mosquito issue was over there. We are having a banner year with more than the norm over here around the Tampa Bay area; and they seem larger than usual this year as well.
Did you get a chance to make it to your coral river, which you had posted about it being at a super low level, on your trips down here this year? Is that river still low?

Did you get a chance to make it to your coral river, which you had posted about it being at a super low level, on your trips down here this year? Is that river still low? Watched that tropical depression stay west of I-75. Could not believe it never came east. Just quick storms, basically dry and no standing water in the forest reducing mosquito issue. They were less a problem that average. A flood during dry season that leaves water standing in the forest without predators is worst situation. I hit the section of river I wanted to on the way down. Fine solid coral, but monotone in color. Then the rain came and messed up any more coral trips while down there. Will post that trip. Stayed in a hotel in White Springs on the way down to collect. A day later the rain raised the water for weeks. Was freaked out at the rain you got over there. it would have sent me back home. The engineers kept looking at it on their smart phones. Kept saying it was 2 hours away. They finally gave up worrying about it. Blew their mind, mine too.
