Nice batch of pictures! Bunch of nice rocks ya got there. Someone here that uses flickr can probably explain how to post pics directly in your thread. How do you like that BD10 saw? You happy with the top to bottom vise as compared to the front to back vise on your big Lortone saw? Any way to keep the clear cover clean if you were so inclined? I can't figure out how to post one of your photos here, but I'm curious what the big rock on the top shelf in photo #12 is - the picture after your nice arrowhead display. Have you work with (cabbed) any of your kaleidoscope jasper? You like it? That's some pricey material, looks like you got a ton of it! < drool >

Hey CaptBob, that larger rock on the top shelf is also K'scope jasper, not a very good photo though. Haven't cabbed any yet, that's a bit down the road yet. It's iffy stuff; some has a lot of chalky/rotted material but other is nice hard jasper. So, some needs stabilized before cutting. Not really crazy about the BD-10 because it runs at 90-95 Dba (Real LOUD!) whereas my Lortone 18" runs at 68Dba. The noise bothers my wife so it's run only when she is out of the house. Hopefully, when we're moved to Homosassa Fl. where I'll have a separate workshop I can run the BD-10 to my hearts content. As for the plastic lid I just wipe it down now an then. I still have months of slab saw work to do yet on the 18 incher so I'm patient.

OMG! Those are FABULOUS!!!! How does one do those with the tiny saw teeth? Are those actually knapped? That material is primo, too. I can't imagine doing those. The anxiety would kill me. Truly an art. Nice assortment of slabs, too. When you get tired of looking at that tiffany, I'll be happy to take it off your hands.

The arrowheads and points are all knapped - the skill level required is amazing and a lot of the material is truly special, They are true masters at their craft.
Someday I hope to cab that Tiffany half as well as you do!
