Red and gray one is an Owyhee Jasper variant. Yellow with back dendrites has a whole bunch of common names depending on the collecting location. Occurs several places in Wyoming. One common name is Sagebrush Jasper- also called Mosquito Jasper, Yellow Tree Jasper and South Pass Jasper. I don't recognize the yellow and gray one but it appears to be some type of picture jasper...Mel

Was curious to hear something on that yellow one , I have collected same stuff around the glendo area in Wyoming . I walked passed it several times cause it looked like mud balls or sandstone till my hammer told me other wise

Thanks Mel. It sure was a nice surprise when I cut into it. The red and gray stone was totally brown on the outside without any color even when wet.

braders, yea it looks really close, I'll have to check my cuts tomorrow and see what the other pieces look like. It looks like yours got way more black spots.
