Didn’t realize that statement james The Europa documentary was scary enough for me. Many would consider that model as optimistic
I’m leery of selling my soul to the company store. That been my lifetime battle I suppose, lots of American feel the same way- to an extent- and that why China is kicking our ass
But I was just watching the ‘Death by China’ documentary. Lots of information and with a fair amount of fear
not sure.
But a country needs to be wisely productive to be healthy That is sorely lacking in America.

Amazon rules! If you live in a small town, certain supplies and things you need are either not available or really expensive. You can always find what you need on Amazon and mostly at super competitive prices too. I have found some very rare books there at stupid cheap prices. I actually got an Index Fossils of Texas book ( I'd only ever seen one before at a super expensive price) for a price 20% of what I'd seen previously. I can always find something extra I want to qualify for free shipping and the stuff gets here fast. Can't beat it!......Mel Cheap easy fast and great selection. Very basic. USPS is doing Sunday shiments for the sake of Amazon. www.alternet.org/labor/horrific-new-marriage-between-your-post-office-and-amazon-sunday

Yep that seems overly intrusive But I’m not sure that’s all government doing How are they shipping them to you? Did it come private courier or U.S. post ?
I think Amazon just ate it for a respected customer what else could they do? can't repackage and sale ...

Rest assured the govt. of China is oppressive and frightening. Quality of life suffers there. Those people are expected to put their job first. I also believe the govt. tells them when the pollution and other similar issues are a problem. People are forced to live in substandard (compared to USA) conditions. I like you, put my job 2nd and always will. Perhaps we would be beheaded on the 2nd day of work over there. I'd be whippin out my Rebel Flag and telling them to take this job and shove it.

Did not check, but certain it was a hazardous shipment. Even silicon carbide is shipped under an expensive shipping class. That is about an inert material as it gets. Too strict.

I generally like Amazon, but have had problems with receiving counterfeit products from them recently. Me too. At least twice with products meant to be consumed-- a tooth whitener and a sugar-free sweetener. Potentially dangerous if you ask me. Yes, they refunded promptly but the many, many reviews on these products have now made me realize if a product has too many reviews, things ain't right.
