Fascinating. However, the 19th Century technically did not end until midnight December 31, 1900 (the 20th Century began immediately after 12:00 am on January 1, 1901), so someone might have properly laid claim to the vessel being in "two different centuries" only had they duplicated the same feat a year later. Centuries begin a year late?

Centuries begin a year late? There was never a year "0" (the year count went directly from 1 BC/BCE to 1 AD/CE), so each new century starts at xx1, and not xx0. Similar to the reason why the 1st century ran from years 1 through 101, the 19th century was 1801 through 1900, the 20th century ran from 1901 through 2000, and the 21st century began with 2001 (i.e., there was not a 0th century for the years prior to 100 AD/CE). Had someone thought to cross the International Date Line + equator at 12:00:01 on New Years 2001, they might potentially have also added the ship being in 2 different millennia to the list (we won't be around to remind folks that they could attempt that, though, next time the opportunity rolls around).

In which the extra water it took to cover the mountains on Earth by 15 cubits during Noah Flood, is explained by Vater Caspar. Water from yesterday on one side of the Meridian is deposited on the today side of the Prime and this process is done day by day for 40 nights. Wundebar ! For the island is the day before, and he cannot go back in time. He has come to the fabled meridian between today and tomorrow, a sort of cosmic international date line. Time in many senses -- Proustian, historical, relativistic -- now becomes the central concern of the novel: the loose or structured memories by which we compel time to take on meaning. A gorgeous parable of the orange dove of the South Seas provides a lyric grounding for speculation. movies2.nytimes.com/books/98/12/06/specials/eco-island.htmlRecommended reading for further enlightenment ….

The best way to find a refrigerator on Lowes is to search for "kitchen cabinets..."

How bout if you father a couple while you’re VP and three more when you’re in the White House? Two mints in one for ol’ Tommy boy. He wasn’t just bangin’ one of his slaves, he was also tappin’ his wife’s half sister. How cool is that?

Precedent of the Hohokam were the first resident of the original White House in Canyon de Chelly. The white skin invasive species called them red skin So I guess that counts as colored. Canyon de Chelly is a marvelous place to visit.

Ha ha dave Your such a joker But what else can we do? Chained to the computer And have to read all this ignorant chatter I’m a student of that meme is a misnomer the spirit of the saying is correct but that not how Plato/Socrates would state it (or stated). Socrates knew a thing or two about Ignorance although I think his quest was to minimize willful ignorance Socrates did have a major beef w/ rhetorician Or the sophists of his day Those speakers/orator who spoke without any regards to any semblance of truth and Socrates was certainly slandered by Lycon, Anytus, and Meletus Perhaps Athens at the time was very volatile The Athenian democracy was losing Demagoguery & Tyranny was on the loose When the Spartans instituted the oligarchy of the 30 Socrates kept his nose mostly clean in that ordeal But when the people regained any semblance of power They held a trial, Socrates was found guilty by 500 jurors, 280 voted guilty and executed Unjustly- most Likely But there was plenty of viciousness afoot Plus It was the Athenian fault and their imperialistic war attitude that really did a number on their experiment in democracy They allowed their leaders- perhaps out of hubris- to engage in exceptionalism wars They had no business perusing... Yet In those days- as today either you rule or be ruled And Socrates, according to Plato was no friend of Democracy He wanted the wisest to rule Noble goal -but first we need wise people Have we produced any yet ? so I Don’t want to slander anyone Especially any military men Captured or not And especially not our most honorable Pootus Or maybe I do want slander someone Its hard to tell in this factoid less world Thanks for the post !! It help me exercise one or two brain cells While I try to tread on lightly And that a fact Mostly
