OK the wife said she wants a jasper pendant made that has the appearance of blood in it or streaks of deep reds in it. What kind of jasper would have the best blood red colors ? Or is there a chert or agate that would be better suited for such a Halloween project ?

Some Rio Grande agate with red moss may suit your purposes.
Or Brenda jasper or Cave Creek jasper from Arizona.

Pigeons Blood Agate or Indian Fancy Jasper. The fancy jasper often has more red than bloodstone....Mel
