Excitement, fanfare!!! I finally got one. ;D It is not high tech and is second hand but it was something I could afford and I think gonna be good for learning faceting. I think this is reincarnation of Lee faceting machine made by Chinese for Daniel Lopacki. I got it on e bay for 270$ + shipping + customs fees + 220-120V converter. OK it was not cheap but I am happy. When the machine arrived the motor carrier was broken. I managed to find a man who weld it for me. Then I had to wait for voltage converter to arrive. And now I have too much work so I am not going to be able to start the machine until the New Year. Zoran

It looks complicated to me which is a good sign. Silver work and faceted stones, man you are gonna make some great stuff. Can't wait for pics.

Neato! I've heard that when you graduate to faceting you have entered the world of ART.Mike.

Zoitka, You gonna have fun. I use 1hr epoxy to dop to the laps. To transfer, just heat and the other side pops off. Get a chunk of glass to start with. It is a little harder to polish and you will learn as much. I have three faceters, and no time to play. Shop too busy. Good luck with the new toy.

Very cool, keep us posted on your progress. I'd love to get into faceting, but it appears to require an extremely well machined and very precise unit, and they start at four grand.

Been a while since you posted this thread but I am interested in hearing how the machine worked out? Did you ever get it to work? Did it work well? Any issues?

Don't hold your breath, as Zoran was last online just over a year ago - on 22 April 2016 It would be good to find out though...
