You are off to a good start. These look shinier than my first batch. My only suggestion would be to leave the rocks in the first stage for quite a bit longer to get them even more rounded. You would clean out the barrel and add new grit each week.

Your pictures aren't showing up here. Based on your description, I agree with Richard. I've almost never had a rock ready for stage two in one week. I prefer to have my rocks look as perfect as possible, you may be less fussy. I run my rocks for weeks in the first stage, checking them once a week. At the end of the week, I rinse them off and inspect each rock. If it's perfect (no cracks or holes) it gets set aside for stage two. If not, it goes back in for more tumbling. The first rock comes out after several weeks. I keep adding fresh rocks to replace volume lost to the rocks eroding and to rocks removed. When I have enough set aside to fill a barrel, I move those on to stage two.
Not spending enough time in stage one is the most common error beginners make. It's not surprising since the instructions that come with the tumbler make it sound like the first stage runs for a set amount of time. The other stages can usually be done in a set amount of time, but not the first stage.

Sounds like this tumbling thing takes patience something I struggle with

For what it's worth they are showing up on my end.

I get them on my phone, but not on my Microsoft laptop. Patience with that first stage, it's worth it. You've got some nice pieces there.

I'm not seeing the pics either. I have never tumbled Pet before but if I remember correctly it is very hard and takes awhile to shape.

For some reason I can see the pictures today. I am actually surprised your Pet was shaped as much as they are. Were they already shaped by a river or were they straight rough? I had two pieces of Pet in my first tumble and after two weeks I took them out because everything else was shaped and the Pet had a way to go.
