First looks somewhat like llanoite (also a granite-type rock with blue quartz). Will be interesting to see a slice.
The piece that broke off from the calcite/onyx looks like chalcedony - maybe agatized limb cast?

It's not llanoite but could be a porphyry similar in makeup. That is unless your stone washed up from central Texas...
Scratch test the onyx/banded thingy. Does steel scratch. If so, acid test.
