I just wanted share this slab of jasper-agate that I collected nearby(about 20miles). I just cut and polished it and any feedback is great! There appear to be some weird metallic spots (easily seen on the left in the second photo), no idea what they are?! My apologies if the pictures aren't top notch....they were handheld. I've been lurking this forum for some time now and finally decided to make an account to share some pictures. On another note, I was getting tired of grinding rocks for the tumbler on a Carbide Wheel and saw on the "King Kong Grinder". I just finished building a grinder modeled after it with my dad oregon. We are still finishing the dust collection part and a cover over the motor side and then we will test it on some more rock. (Yes I know this should be in the Homemade Equipment Section but I wanted to put it all in one post)

Welcome littleoregon! obviously a chip off the old oregon block! haha. Beautiful stone! Can't tell what the metallic material is from your picture but could be hematite typical with a material of that nature.
