Hi All: I am new-ish to the rock tumbling hobby. I had a tumbler when I was much younger, did not have the patience for it 45 years ago . . . not sure I do now either, but I have hope. I currently have one little tumbler and a few pounds of rough. I have been lurking for a few days, reading posts and tips. I look forward to learning from you folks and (re)discovering the joy of this hobby . . . and maybe learning something about this patience thing I've read so much about. Best regards, Matt

HI Matt: Welcome to the forum. Like you, i tried this as a kid, left for a bit, and came back to it about 30 years later. Looking forward to seeing your tumbles! Paul

Welcome from California. Not into tumbling; haven't mastered the patience thing either. Lots of tumbling experts here.

welcome to RTH, wannabee! I am about 90 miles to the east of you in Frankfort, NY, very near the Herkimer Diamond Mines. KD My wife's family lives in Rome. We drive right past you once a month going for a visit. Both my kids visited the diamond mines on field trips when they were in high school.
