I have no affiliation to this seller or listing. I just seen the listing and thought it looked like a decent deal so I thought I would share it here. If the wheels are original then it has not seen much use. I would probably ask the seller if the wheels are genuine diamond pacific or ask for a closeup of each set of wheels. I am betting this goes quick at half the price of new. www.ebay.com/itm/Genie-Diamond-Pacific-PolisherGrinder-/331985210225Chuck

Thanks Chuck - that does look like a good deal. I'm not sure what the lapidary equipment market is like in WA but if that were near me in no. CA I would snatch it up in a heart beat and maybe turn it for a few hundred profit.
I've been looking for a simple poly arbor for a while now and everything lapidary gets snatched up quick here at prices that don't make any sense. When I check other areas like Phoenix there are all kinds of them at reasonable prices.

Hey Tommy. I think our club is going to have a poly arbor for sale at our next sale(after the one this Sunday). Coming down for Sunday's sale?

It's gone already. My shipping cost would be over 100 and it was still a good deal. I seriously thought about it for my son.

Thanks Ed - I don't think we can make it down this Sunday. I'm up to my ears in a construction project in the house that needs (must) to be completed before a family get together on the 8th or I'm in big trouble haha. With your insider tip I'll definitely keep a lookout for the next one after that.

Thanks Pat! I'm all set on wheel units - I'm just looking for a simple poly arbor (or similar) so I can finish a project that's been itching at me to scratch it.

Hey Tommy. I think our club is going to have a poly arbor for sale at our next sale(after the one this Sunday). Coming down for Sunday's sale? Well... I can officially say I'm not going to make the sale tomorrow I broke my right ankle in three places today. I'm doing a construction project - building a closet - and long story short I stepped into a hole in the floor that was covered with carpet pad. My left foot went down to the dirt under the house and my right foot which was planted up above twisted and snapped like a pretzel. First time in my life I've ever screamed in pain. crap crap crap - so clumsy I am. I had just covered the hole so I can trim the pad back to where it needed to be. Turned around to get my knife and stepped right in it. As soon as the swelling subsides they have to do surgery on the displaced fibula.

Ouch. Mind your physician and your physical therapists. Or you will pay with discomfort down the road.

Well, I sincerely hope you can control the pain and that the surgery is successful. Sorry, dude. edit to add- I broke my ankle once- in one place- and that was painful enough! Get well soon!

I REALLY feel sorry for Eva! I been there and done that with Bob. Broken knee (they are not meant to bend 90 degrees to the side), and then broken ankle while trying to mend from the broken knee. And that was 25 years ago when we still liked each other! Definitely rougher on the caretaker than the patient, lol.
All kidding aside, I do feel sorry for you. Damaged ankles can be a pain in the... ummm, ankle? Hope that you have a competent surgeon. Bob's broken knee was put back together by a doctor who at the time was the team doctor for the Chargers. (Ugh, now why did I bring up the Chargers, don't want to even think about them!) Anyway, he has a heck of a scar (a good 18 inches long), pretty well faded by now, but he does not walk with a limp.
