I feel it should,,, how fast do they normally go.. I have been using mine for about 3 + months or so now but it just seems to never vibrate enough to do much... It sometimes takes me 4 or 5 days for a polish load, that I normally would have run in my other style vibratory machine for 24 max... Any ideas. Is something not right with the mounting? This is my first lot-o and have always used the thumpers/ray-tech style machine different barrel and no mounting. Just want to check on idea? Thanks

How do you have it mounted? Any photos of your setup?

Just a shot in the dark but during the brief time I had a vibratory tumbler I noticed that if I kept adding water they would go faster and faster then I would get to a certain point and they would almost stop completely. It sounds like you have previous experience so you probably have the correct amount of water but maybe it might be too much water?

I have it mounted to 5 high - 18 x 18 inch concrete blocks , that are prepare according to the instructions,, each of the blocks is attached to each other with silicone/or/adhesive.. I am pretty sure that for the Weight the instructions said to attach it to at least 100 pounds and when we were building it the weight limit was correct. But it came loose and we had to re-attach it. IF there was a problem with anything as for as it being attached/mounted could that effect it moving so slowly? Also, does anyone have a video or something that I could use to judge the speed of there lot-o? I have looked online and can't find video of lot-o just other vibratory style machines, that I have experience with already. or if you know of a link that shows the lot-t running to see how fast or slow it runs? Thanks a lot .. Hopefully I explain how it was set up ok, but I will attempt a picture if that helps and I did not explain It good enough..

This shows one running "correctly". Check around the 3:11 mark.

Too much weight (i.e. too many rocks will slow the movement); Too much friction (i.e. too dry to make a slick slurry). I"d start out a load that you think is too slow and try removing the biggest rocks until you see a change in movement. That is only if you have good slurry. Sometimes if my load is about right, I add a bit of water to slow the load down, but not enough to form a pond in the bottom. If things slow during the process, I usually add water to lubricate the movement. My blind guess is that you are loading your tumbler with too many large rocks or too much weight. Its easy to remove while the shake is on.
