I've ordered 4 barrels, 15 lb thumlers (2 rough grind, and 2 polish) for my homemade tumber from Sean at The Rock Shed, and could not be happier with their products, price, fast shipping, and service. Great company, and will be purchasing more from them in the future. Robert

I agree. I bought a 12" Lortone saw from the The Rock Shed a few years ago and asked if it would be possible to pay the difference and have them substitute an MK-301 blade for the MK-303 blade that normally came with the saw from the Lortone factory. The folks at The Rock Shed were very accommodating and substituted the better blade for a very reasonable fee. Item was shipped and delivered as promised.

Yep that's a family owned and operated business centered on service!!!! Vote with your dollars folks and do business with folks like this!!! It's worth a few more dollars for "service"!!!
You go Sean! His mother is awesome to deal with too! I bought a little boy that lives next to me a double barrel Lortone tumbler and the grit and some rocks from them as a Xmas present. Sean and his mother shipped it with both barrels stuffed full of cool rocks in addition to what I paid for!

Plus if you go to visit you can rockhound the parking area across the street. They unload trucks of rocks there and don't pick up the little stuff! Great tumbles!#

I've never heard a complaint about The Rock Shed. Every order I've made has been a great experience.

Order often enough and you don't have to buy candy for Halloween.

I get to visit with Sean at Denver show. Both his parents have serious health problems. He is a very nice person and I send anyone looking for lortone or thumlers his way.

I ordered a Lortone 33B tumbler from them and the first 2 were damaged, most likely in shipping although the damage was rusted which suggested it had happened before it was shipped to me. Either way he promptly paid for shipping at his expense and kept sending me new ones. The motor on that on the 3rd unit died within days (pretty sure he thought I was crazy at that point lol) but fortunately I was able to take it directly to Lortone and they swapped it out for free. So considering the tumblers were damaged in shipping, not their fault, and the motor was Lortone's fault, it was just freakish bad luck more than anything. The grit kit was great. Moral of the story, shipping in the factory box can be risky even if more economical.

I have ordered many times from the Rock Shed and have always been satisfied. Sean has also offered great advice on media size and grit/polish for a vibe tumbler. One can be confident when ordering from Sean
