Wow, I have not done any wrapping in a long time, but I sat done to do some and I didn't stop until I had 5 done. I wrap so many big stones that I wanted to get some 22g stones done. All but the one moss agate from Tommy are smaller. I may have posted the lapis before, which I did months ago before- can't remember. Nuumite from Greenland- said to be the oldest stone on earth. Lots of metallic sparkle. Lapis with matrix OJ- I bought this cab in 2000 and just got around to using it Serraphinite- another old cab a really gemmy rhochrosite with ortiz crystal color Sweet blue green moss agate simple old stock hornitos poppy jasper I'll be doing more wrapping today. Thanks for looking!

Always nice to see your work. I like the lapis wrap best but also really like the simplicity of the poppy wrap.

All very nice Tela, I have a new appreciation for this kind of work. The OJ and poppy jasper are both really sharp stones, but the wrap work is better.

Similarly, I love the lapis. The rhodochrosite is amazing, but not my colour Poppy jasper ... I'm always a sucker for that.

Always a pleasure to see your work.
Love the first one. Beautiful!!! Neat that it is the oldest rock on earth. And it sparkles!!!

Your wraps are beautiful & these are no exception. I've done a wrap like that poppy before. I love the magic of a slightly angled girdle to hold the stone in place.

All pretty but being a dude, I too like the simple wraps, especially in a stone with a distinct pattern. Wrap doesn't take one's attention away from the pretty stone....Mel

How is that poppy jasper stone being held in there? Do you have a bigger angle on the side of the stone that the top wire is resting on?

Thanks. I completely missed the line in NDK post where he mentioned the "magic". Beautiful! I really love the "simplicity" of your work. Or maybe I should use the word elegance. To me, these are the hardest pieces to pull off since you can't hide behind a bunch of embellishments.

So much loveliness I couldn't decide, but I think I like the first one best just because of the stone itself. And the Rhodo, which is a superb specimen. Looks like candy. Your work should be in a museum!
Um, do you mean Rhodochrosite, not rhochrosite?
