OK, so I was thinking of putting my bug in here But as luck would have it, I got into searching for some eyes for another project, and uncovered some unexpected colours. Now, the bugger is how to choose just one. My choice for this contest. Next single it down to just one picture for the voting At 0.3ct, certainly the smallest cab I ever did. With all those colours, I slowly begin to understand as to why people are so crazy about opal. Thanks for looking, Kurt That is nice, I wish I had opal to play with

As promised. heres my entry for the month, it doesn't have nice patterns or any at all. But something keeps drawing my attention back to it when it's sitting with the other I done. Australian Chryoprase Must be getting better I can see the reflection of the clouds

Great cabs this month. I decided to give it a go after I found this nice slab of Ocean Jasper with a great drusy vug in my slab box. Here's the progression from slab to cab: Slab Preform Cab

The only thing of note is maybe that everything is done by holding it in fingers, without topping. The smallest in this set (showing the red colours) comes in at 0.1ct.

OK here's mine. I finished it in Oct but really did like 95% of it in September at the Rockhound retreat and only did a bit of touch up this week. If that disqualifies me then delete me... Blue ice polka dot agate, self collected at the mine on Labor Day 2015. Pics are with and without flash, w/o shows the transparent blue better and with flash shows the more opaque lower part better.

Super entries this month. I guess 'nothing' was the best theme I could have picked.

Love the look of Ocean Jasper. Never seen the colours like that. Same with PolkaDot, never seems to fail. Like working with it.
