You have been busy! Favorite would be those Blue Mountain slabs. What do you do with all these slabs? I don't recall that you cab, do ya?
A nice diamond drill bit and you could start making some spectacular wind chimes! Bet something like that would sell like hot cakes at craft shows.

Thanks, is the 1/8th thickness good for finding her? (Iris), I have been tempted by a piece of opalizedwood, I found in Franks collection, looks to be very finally banded large piece, about 1'× 9", but for know just cutting up small stuff,

(Iris), I have been tempted by a piece of opalizedwood, I found in Franks collection, looks to be very finally banded large piece, about 1'× 9", but for know just cutting up small stuff, Some get lucky and get it on the normal size thickness, but I usually go as thin as my saw allows for the Iris.... I have two or three iris now,but that was from cutting hundreds of agate.....It's a hit and miss, but worth the effort to try... So yes,1/8th is close!!

Thanks again Fossilman! After seeing your cuts I dug out a piece of Montana in Franks collection that has been cut has strong potential for Iris it was one of the pieces in his display case, when you turn it in the light you can see a turtle she'll effect, in the matrix with a little bluish plume, and also the black plume, if one cut has Iris will the whole piece have it?
