I can't stand to do the same thing all the time, so I change it up regularly and try something different. Yellow calcite in silver. Picasso stone in bronze with weave and picasso bead. This is an odd one. it is a piece of mine slag which I shaped and shined the sides and back. The top is just as it was when it cooled after they melted it to extract whatever they were looking for. I like the abstract pattern on the front. I think it makes a manly piece. what do you think guys? The back and sides took a very nice black shine. Thanks for looking. Amy

Nice job on the wraps. The slag is cool. Looked like a meteorite at first.

I really like the way you did the calcite & my next favorite is the slag. I like the ruggedness of it.

Nice work! I really like the first and last one. The last one is so cool with all that texture going on.

As always perfect, the last one is not manly though. I think its the bail, the slag is cool.

3 great wraps. But I agree that bail needs to be simpler for a man.

Thanks everyone. I see what you mean about the bail on the slag.

Very nice wire work. That first one is a great design and executed perfectly.

Very nicely done. I love the slag. I found one of those old large iron balls near copper tailings runoff in Hayden, AZ. I can't do anything with it, but they used them to pummel rock. I think I have a piece of slag, too. Somewhere. Anyway, I really like the calcite wrap. If it didn't have the swirlies, it would be manly enough for a guy to wear.

Great wraps! It's not a million miles off, but I agree with comments re the bail.
Sieber agate is a kind of slag and I've recently found a piece of volcanic material which has a skin of glass that looks like Sieber. It has put me on to the potential of slag; there's an abandoned mine many miles away I might get chance to try this theory out on some-day.
