Wondering if there's anyone who would be willing to make something like this for me for a reasonable price or trade. I have some cheap ones from eBay, but would like some made from material i personally collected. I have jadeite and nephrite, but also think these would look cool in Montana agate and moss agate.

I don't know how to make donuts. I wish I did. I also think it would be cool to have donuts from stuff I collect.

I'm thinking a lathe might be the way to go here otherwise it would be difficult to achieve the uniformity. Does anyone make these already?

ubermenehune I make jade rings with a drill press and diamond hole saws. Probably wouldn't be too difficult to make them wider and flatter. It would take a little time to get a holder or spinner made but after that it would be fairly simple. In a past life I did a tutorial for making rings on here and it should still be accessible. Try searching for jade rings by wampidy. I quit making rings because it is very boring but I may have to give one of these a try some day. My largest hole saw is 1 1/8" ID so it would take either a larger hole saw or cut the outside on the trim saw. By spinning it the problem with getting the outside round would go away. Jim
