The first of these slabs is from a solid quartz nodule from Kentucky... found myself... lots of this stuff in the creeks. Half a dozen slabs were cut from the nodule.
This second slab here is an agate from Uruguay, has a nice glow in the sunlight. More than 10 of these slabs.
The following are from Niland, CA.
Slab from a nodule with tiny cavities for crystal growth. Many colors. The piece broke in transit, had to krazy glue the slab back together... too bad. *bangs head against laptop*
This agate slab is encased in rhyolite... very smooth, alas this slab was also fixed with the help of krazy glue. 7 slabs in total.
A breccia slab infused with agate, also has a rind of rhyolite. Got 4 of these slabs.
Other than these slabs, not much else to show(just some small red jasper fist-size slabs with turkey tails, so I might have to update this thread at a later date)... I'm one happy man after getting back these slabs from Fossilman. I'd recommend him for your slabbing needs.
